A constructor of motorhomes and trailers for the recreational product market, King of The Road was a brand under Chief Industries Incorporated. Entering the marketplace during the 1984 model year, King of The Road originally created fifth wheel and travel trailers that would span up to 40 feet in length. King of The Road also produced Class motorhomes starting in 2004 between 40.5 to 42 feet. Citing economic conditions, King of The Road officially shut down in 2007.
