Building travel trailers as well as fifth wheel trailers for the first time in the 1970s, recreational vehicle brand Wilderness designed as basic family vacationing and camping. Wilderness would also produce park model vacation units from 1994 to 2002 measuring up to 40 feet in length. A division of Fleetwood, Wilderness was discontinued after the 2009 model year.
