Despite only a brief time in production, Vixen Motor Company became a popular sight in recreational vehicle history. American-built with European engineering inspiration, Vixen was first constructed in 1986 as a 21-foot Class A motorhome embodying a super-efficient aerodynamics and a well-appointed interior. Vixen motorhomes were powered by either a BMW turbocharged diesel or a General Motors-sourced gasoline engine. After the production of 578 motorhomes, the unique Vixen units left the marketplace after 1989.
