Initially producing camping trailers for motorcycle towing in the 1970s, Time Out began creating super-lightweight vacation products for four-wheeled towing in 1981. Exceptionally small at between 7 to 14.5 feet in length, Time Out camping trailers expended to fit up to four occupants at the campground. Weighing well under 1,000 pounds, the camping trailers sold by Time Out could be towed by most automobiles. Time Out concluded production of the automotive-based camping trailers after the 1999 model year.
