Operating as a Class A and Class C motorhome builder during the 1970s ranging up to 30.5 feet in length, Explorer utilized Dodge underpinnings. After a long hiatus from the recreational vehicle industry, Explorer returned in 2003 as a travel trailer manufacturer. Between 2003 and 2008, the Explorer line of travel trailers span from 18 to 32 feet. The Explorer line of trailers was assembled under Frontier RV.
