Pontiac's full-sized sedan receives a much-deserved redesign for 2000. The 2000 Pontiac Bonneville's revised styling is combined with increased equipment. Side impact front airbags are standard on all Bonneville models while the high-end SSEi trim level comes with EyeCue heads-up display and StabiliTrak electronic stability control. The 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix is treated to a revised styling, increased power to its base engine and a Daytona 500 Pace Car edition featuring unique graphics, deck-lid spoiler and 16-inch aluminum wheels. For 2000, the Pontiac Sunfire has been significantly remodeled. A new front end featuring upper air opening and new side trim are noted enhancements to the car on the outside. Inside, a new center console and an available Monsoon audio system are part of the new Sunfire. Dropping the convertible body style for 2000, the Pontiac Sunfire remains offered as a two-door coupe or four-door sedan. For the 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, a five-speed manual transmission is now standard with the four-cylinder powered models. All 2000 Pontiac Montana minivans come with standard dual sliding doors and redesigned instrument cluster. New color options are available with the 2000 Pontiac Firebird.
