Honda's segment-topping 2001 Civic and 2001 Accord have both been redesigned for 2001 in varying magnitude. All-new for 2001, the Honda Civic sedan and coupe incorporate several major features such as an all-new front suspension system consisting of MacPherson struts. The 2001 Honda Accord receives a more modest styling adjustment for 2001 with a new front end and wheel designs. Improved handling is presented on V-6 powered versions of the Honda Accord with the inclusion of traction control. With the Honda S2000, an aluminum hardtop is added as optional equipment in 2001. The Honda CR-Z, Insight, Odyssey and Passport enter 2001 with no significant changes.
