One of Mercedes-Benz's rawest sport utility vehicles, the G-Class debuts in 2002 with a four-wheel drive system operating with three fully locking differentials. Known as the G-Wagon in some circles, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class' official introduction into the North American marketplace comes after years of grey market importation. The SLK32 AMG is propelled by a supercharged V-6 powerplant that generates a stunning 349 horsepower. For those focused only on the performance look, a Sport package option is also found with the SLK resembling the styling of the SLK32 AMG. The Mercedes-Benz M-Class line-up is presented with some minor exterior and interior enhancements for 2002. A ML500 featuring a 5.0-liter V-8 engine generating 288 horsepower is one of the new addition to the luxury utility vehicle.
