Mercedes-Benz's modern German luxury and engineering continue to grace a sizable assortment of sedans, coupes and sport utility vehicles for 2018. Leading a charge into 2018 from the top, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan range has underwent a considerable update. Along with styling refinements to the front and rear, the 2018 S-Class includes an updated infotainment system. A new S450 entry-level sedan premieres with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 while the Mercedes-Maybach line features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 in addition to a 12-cylinder powerplant. The Mercedes-AMG GT supercar was also dramatically retooled with the debut of a roadster model and new performance editions including the 577-horsepower GT R. For 2018, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class expands with the addition of redesigned coupe and convertible models. Peak power for the mid-range luxury vehicle has been reset to 602 horsepower with the introduction of a Mercedes-AMG E63 S sedan and wagon. Added performance is also found in Mercedes-Benz's crossover vehicles with a 469-horsepower Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and a 503-horsepower GLC63 S. The 2018 model year for Mercedes-Benz includes a wide variety of special edition trim levels. The CLA250 Ice Edition, G550 Designo Manufaktur Red and Black Edition and a RedArt Edition of the Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class are some high-style variants available to customers.
